Welcome Back Lions!

Hello, and welcome back Lions! 

Students and families, we are excited to welcome you to school year 2025-2026. 

We are looking forward to seeing you during our Open House on Thursday, August 28 from 1:00 -3:30 p.m. at Wellstone 3^rd floor of Kopp Hall.

The address is 1501 Hennepin Avenue (Minneapolis College).  It is important you join us during Open House because it is a chance to ask questions, get your schedule, your bus/identification card, meet our office support staff, your teachers and familiarize yourself with the school building. Most importantly, we can’t wait to see you at Wellstone as it feels lonely and empty without our brilliant and talented students.

If you are thinking about school materials, don’t stress out!  Wait until school starts and your teachers will tell you what you need for school. We will be able to provide you with the basic materials you will need to be successful, we got you!   Feel free to get yourself any fun and cool notebooks, backpack, pencils and/or pens you prefer.

The other very important day is the first day of school: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2^nd, 2025.  Classes begin at 8:30 a.m.  We encourage you to arrive early so you can have an opportunity to greet teachers, meet friends and have breakfast.  Breakfast will be available from 8:10 – 8:25 a.m.  If you have any questions, please text 612-227-1028 or call 612-659-6166,
